A Historic Cabin with Room to Rest

Bear Claw Cabin

Bear Claw Cabin Babbling Brook Cottages

Bear Claw Cabin is a historic cabin with room to breathe, both inside and out.

Inside, the original 1936 log walls give the cabin a presence you feel right away. The wood is dark, textured, and full of quiet character. It feels like it has been holding Pocono memories long before you arrived. The rooms have a calm, grounded warmth that makes the whole cabin feel instantly familiar.

Bear Claw works especially well for two people who want comfort, history, and a little more breathing room without losing the cozy feeling of an old log cabin. The sofa, bedrooms, deck, and firepit all give you places to settle in, but the real charm is the way the cabin feels around you. Steady, warm, and hard to replicate.

Bear Claw Cabin Babbling Brook Cottages Glow

Bear Claw Cabin carries some of the strongest original log character on the property. Built in 1936, its old log walls still shape the feeling of the cabin today. They bring a warmth and quiet history that cannot be recreated with new wood or modern finishes.

This is often the cabin people choose when they want a stay that also feels easy to live in. The full kitchen, eat-in dining space, roomy bathroom, large sofa, and two bedrooms give the cabin breathing room without making it feel oversized. It's still a cozy cabin, just one with a little more sleeping room.

Bear Claw works especially well for two people who love being away together but rest best with options. Some guests keep different sleep schedules. Some are light sleepers. Some simply sleep better with the same kind of space they use at home. Here, that comfort feels natural, not separate from the romance of the stay.

Outside, the raised deck and large firepit area give the stay a little more room to unfold together. Breakfast can linger on the deck, an afternoon cup of tea can turn into shared quiet with a good book nearby, and a glass of wine after dinner out can bring the night back to the glow of the cabin. Bear Claw is for two people who want old-log-cabin warmth, easy comfort, and the kind of rest that feels good because it actually fits them.
