George W. Childs Park
Three scenic waterfalls within walking distance or 1 minute drive from Babbling Brook Cottages. It is a 1.4 mile loop trail that contains the Fulmer, Factory and Deer Leap Falls. Dogs and other pets not permitted.
Raymondskill Falls
Highest waterfall in PA. 1/2 mile loop with several lookouts of the waterfall. 14 minutes from Babbling Brook Cottage Dog friendly trail.
Lower Indian Ladder Falls
at Hornbecks Creek Trail
1 mile easy trail with a beautiful fan shaped waterfall a the end of the trail. Located on the Hornbecks Creek Trail which follows the creek along an old railbed. 8 minutes from Babbling Brook Cottages. Dog friendly trail.
Tumbling Waters at PEEC
3 mile loop trail with impressive waterfall and overlook views of the valley. Covers over 500 feet of elevation change through various wooded habitats. Part of the Pocono Environmental Education Center which has a total of 6 dog friendly trails. 9 minutes from Babbling Brook Cottage Dog friendly trail.
Bushkill Falls
The "Niagara of Pennsylvania", as it is known, Bushkill Falls is among the Keystone State's most famous scenic attractions. Offers unique series of 8 waterfalls connected by a network of trails. Commercially owned. Fees range from $20-$22 per adult. 19 minutes from Babbling Brook Cottage Dog friendly trails.
Dingmans Falls
Two waterfalls on an easy 1/2 mile boardwalk trail. 5 minutes from Babbling Brook Cottage Dogs and other pets not permitted.
Hackers Falls
Secluded waterfall is located off of the Cliff Trail. You will see breathtaking panoramic views looking across the Delaware River into New Jersey. 14 minutes from Babbling Brook Cottage Dog friendly trail.
Upper Indian Ladder Falls at Ridgeline Trail/PEEC
1 mile extension trail with amazing waterfall. This trail is an extension off of the 4.5 mile Ridgeline Trail. Part of the Pocono Environmental Education Center which has a total of 6 dog friendly trails. 9 minutes from Babbling Brook Cottage Dog friendly trail.
Camp Hidden Falls
3 little waterfalls that were once part of the former Girl Scout Camp. Trail not yet blazed as it is the newest addition to the park system. 9 minutes from Babbling Brook Cottage Dog friendly trail.
Shohola Falls
*Bonus Waterfall. Shohola Falls is a can't miss waterfall. Although a few extra minutes from the cottages, this is well worth the trip. Located next to the Shohola Reservoir, is it just a short walk to the spectacular view of the cascading water. 27 minutes from Babbling Brook Cottage Dog friendly trail.
