Dog Friendly Stays
Dogs need nature and so do you! Is your best friend longing for fresh mountain air and quality time with you in the great outdoors? Do you dread leaving your pup at home or at a kennel while you escape from the daily grind? We understand that dogs want to always be with us and experience our vacations. Babbling Brook Cottages offers four dog-friendly, private, unique cottages and space for both you and your pup to relax and unwind.

Looking for adventures with your pup? Babbling Brook Cottages is only a few minutes drive from Bushkill Falls (dog friendly & open seasonally) and the many leashed dog friendly trails of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Pocono Environmental Education Center offers hiking at all 7 trails and is just 10 minutes from BBC. Locally there are several establishments that welcome well behaved leashed dogs from restaurants and breweries with outdoor seating options, plus shopping, and even river adventures.
A 24 foot x 36 foot fenced zoomie zone complete with turf grass is for our dog guests to get out the "zoomies" during stays. This is the only outdoor area on the BBC property for "unleashed" time. Dog owners are required to be in the play area.

Dogs are not to be left unattended inside or outside of cottages at anytime, and must be leashed at all times on BBC property, unless playing in the Zoomie Zone. We require that each dog is housebroken (no pee pads), current on their shots, are on active flea and tick prevention and are not people or dog aggressive and have been socialized.

Please note that we do not allow other "pets" to stay at Babbling Brook Cottages. This includes but is not limited to - cats, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, snakes, lizards, rabbits, and pigs. Thank you for your understanding.

Dogs are $20 per day and must be added to your reservation at the time of booking. A maximum of 2 dogs per cottage. A portion of each fee is donated to a local animal rescue shelter/or dog friendly trail location. Dogs are permitted ONLY in the FOUR designated dog friendly cottages. Please keep barking to a minimum out of respect for the other guests on the property.
