Snugglers Notch was built in 1935, the first cabin on the property. It began as the kitchen cabin, with one side used for cooking around a stone fireplace and the other as a raised covered deck for meals. That history still feels fitting today, because this is still the cabin guests often choose when food, quiet, and time together are part of the stay.
Inside, Snugglers Notch has a complete small-format kitchen with a stove, oven, refrigerator, sink, prep space, and coffee bar area. Some guests cook a heartier breakfast before heading out for the day. Others stay close to the cabin, grill outside, read by the firepit, or spend hours watching the birds, squirrels, light, and weather move through the forest.
The bedroom is what makes this cabin feel especially different. With windows on three sides, the woods seem to wrap around the room. It is a peaceful place to wake up slowly, rest in the afternoon, or watch the forest change with the season — spring green, summer shade, fall color, or quiet winter snow.
