The Stargazer has a way of catching people’s attention before they know much about it. From the outside, it looks like the little cabin in the woods many guests already have in their mind — small, charming, and tucked into the older rhythm of the Poconos.

Built in 1938 as a sleeping cabin, it began as one open room created for the simplest kind of time away. That original character still carries through today, with modern comforts added over time. The kitchenette was added in 2020, and the bathroom was updated in 2025, giving the cabin more comfort while keeping its old Pocono charm intact.

​

This is a good choice for guests who are drawn to history, simplicity, and a quieter kind of romance. Many guests who choose The Stargazer like to spend part of their stay out exploring, with easy options for simple meals in the kitchenette, lunch on the grill, or dinner at a nearby restaurant before coming back to a cabin that feels calm, private, and easy to settle into.
