Since purchasing Babbling Brook Cottages in 2020, I've discovered that creating a memorable getaway isn't about grand gestures—it's about hundreds of thoughtful details working together.

Whether I'm restoring a historic cabin, answering a guest's questions, or exploring a new trail to recommend, my goal is always the same: to help you arrive, relax, and spend your time making memories instead of worrying about the little things.

Experience Behind My Writing

Historic Cabins

These cabins have been welcoming guests for generations, and I see myself as their current steward. I'm always looking for ways to make them better while respecting the history that makes them special. Whether it's planning improvements, coordinating larger projects with trusted people, or spending the day painting, mowing, trimming, cleaning, and maintaining the property, I believe the little things make the biggest difference in how a stay feels.

Welcoming Guests

One of my favorite parts of Babbling Brook is getting to know the people who stay here. Every couple has a different story, a different reason for visiting, and different hopes for their time away. Whether you have a simple question before your trip or need help during your stay, I want you to know there's a real person on the other end of the phone who is genuinely happy to help.

Local Knowledge

Living beside the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and just minutes to Milford, Pennsylvania has given me the opportunity to explore this remarkable area in ways many visitors never have the chance to. I enjoy discovering quiet waterfalls, scenic back roads, peaceful hiking trails, and small local businesses, then sharing those experiences with our guests. If I recommend somewhere to visit, it's because I've been there myself and believe it's worth your time.

Why I Write

Everything I write begins with something real—a conversation with a guest, a lesson learned while caring for the property, or a place that left an impression on me. I enjoy learning, asking questions, and looking at things from different perspectives, and this journal is one way I can share those discoveries. My hope is that what you read here helps you plan a more enjoyable stay and perhaps notice something you might have otherwise overlooked.
